JM Royal Ragdolls
We strive to bring out the best of ragdoll cats and offer quality companions to loving homes. All our kittens are raised as members of a home, constantly receiving love, interaction, and socialization. It is a top priority to us that every kitten is properly socialized and given the love and attention that they deserve. Our home is teeming with life, so each kitten will get to experience the love of children, dogs, and of course crazy cat ladies.
Why Ragdolls?
Ragdolls are best known for their affectionate personalities. Their gorgeous, silky, smooth coats are a trademark for ragdoll cats as well. Because they don’t have an undercoat, ragdoll cats also shed less and are easier to groom than other long-haired breeds.
Because of their calm, laid-back personalities, Ragdolls are wonderful with children and other pets. Ragdolls are actually known as “puppy cats” because of their tendency to follow people around like dogs. They can even be taught to play fetch! The name of the breed is derived from the cats’ tendency to relax and go limp, like a rag doll, when picked up. One of the most lovable and endearing things about ragdoll cats, in my opinion, is how big and cuddly they are! See more about the personalities of our cats here.
Ragdolls are affectionate and devoted to their owners. It isn’t unusual for them to follow their owners from room to room throughout the day. They love to observe daily activities and spend time with the people they love. They are gentle, calm and loving animals. This makes them a great choice for homes with young children. Ragdoll cats crave social interaction. It is important for them to be in a home where they will be given enough love and attention!
